become a member

All club member lessons are ongoing and there is no need to rebook. However, with the pupil's progression, times and days may be changed appropriately.

babies (3 months up to 24 months)

Any new mothers and babies are scheduled into a baby swim class with an accompanying adult according to your baby's age and/or ability. Lessons are ongoing until your baby progresses to toddler level when a suitable class will be selected.

toddlers and children (from 24 months upwards)

An assessment is a prerequisite to assess the personality and level of comfort of your child in the water. These and other aspects are taken into account when a suitable class is selected for your child.

All newcomers over the age of 2 years are individually assessed during a 15 minute, one-to-one session. The assessment is free of charge and only in exceptional circumstances (e.g. twins and triplets) may the parent be asked to accompany the teacher into the water.

Teaching programs for newcomers are individually scheduled in classes of either 4 lessons per month (once a week), or 8 lessons per month (twice weekly) depending on the pupil's need and availability. Thereafter, tuition is ongoing.

Age and capability are matched so as to create cohesive self-supporting groups. Except for certain “standard formats” such as the Baby courses, certain Adult classes and Private lessons, there are no regular, standing schedules allowing newcomers to simply attend. All lessons are of 30 minutes duration.

adults & private lessons

Adults and those attending private lessons are not required to become club members.

Both courses and “one off” lessons are available to adults attending our club. Club membership does not apply and times and days (with prior arrangements) can vary according to availability of the pupil.
