uk members information

These procedures have been established for the smooth running of the club and protection of our pupils and visitors. Please adhere to these policies.

push chairs

A pushchair area has been allocated indoors at reception. Please park your pushchairs economically.

scooters & bicycles

These can be left in the reception area provided they are placed properly and do not cause any obstruction. If you are unsure where to leave yours please leave it outside or ask at reception for assistance.

reception area

This is an information point. Do not dress your children in this area, please use the changing areas for this purpose. The fish are for the enjoyment of everyone, please do not allow your child to bang the tank, this can be very stressful for the fish.

waiting area

A waiting area at reception has been provided for your comfort. Please be aware of others in the area, keep it neat and tidy and encourage your children to do the same.

mother & baby changing area

A dedicated mother and baby (strictly for 2yrs and under) changing area is available upstairs. To access this area, use the stairs leading from reception. Only when necessary are siblings permitted to accompany parent/carer and baby to this area. This area is available to both mothers and fathers on Saturdays only and is closed after the last baby swimming class. No food is permitted in any changing area. Anyone not permitted to use this area will be asked to leave.

nappies

Bins for nappies are not provided, please take all used nappies away with you. Soiled nappies smell and make the environment unpleasant for everyone so please take all used nappies away with you.

private nursing area

A small sitting area has been allocated next to the mother and baby changing upstairs for the nursing of infants only. Please do not allow toddlers in this area, it is for young babies and nursing only. No food is permitted in any changing area.

lockers

Lockers are situated inside the pool hall for the safe keeping of your valuables. Padlocks are not provided, please bring your own. LSST Ltd cannot be held responsible for any damage, loss or theft of personal property.

male changing facilities (saturdays)

The mother and baby change area usually dedicated to mothers only, is also open to fathers on a Saturday. Fathers please make use of this area. As many fathers attend Saturday morning lessons with their babies, the usual male changing facilities are unfortunately not big enough to accommodate all. To access the male only changing room, use the steps from reception and follow signs.

glass waiting room

Please do not wait by the poolside for your lesson or block any entrances or exits to the pool. If you are early, use the glass waiting room situated at the front of the pool hall. This waiting area is equipped with a playpen and storage draws and doubles up as an extra changing area for children during the busy afternoon schedule.

watching week

Parents and carers are invited to watch the lessons once a month. This takes place every four weeks. Lessons during watching week can also be viewed on the screen in the waiting area. These dates vary, so please make yourself aware of these, or check our calendar. These and further details are posted on the notice board of your chosen club. Exceptions to our watching week policy cannot be made.

baby swimming spectators

Spectators cause distraction so please keep visitors to a minimum. For parents watching their baby's lesson, it is imperative that you remain out of view for the duration of the lesson.
