Parent and baby classes/water familiarisation for infants from 3–24 months with accompanying adult.
In circumstances where parent/carer is unable to enter the water, it may be possible with prior arrangement, for an extra teacher to facilitate instead.
Small classes of no more than 5 carers and babies.
Water temperature of 33°C.
Classes are organised according to age or ability.
3-5 months, 6-9 months, 10-13 months, 14-18 months and 18-24 months (*this may vary due to availability).
Lessons are structured (not only play), to include a series of exercises to stimulate babies own innate swimming abilities. With constant encouragement and under vigilant supervision, they soon begin to swim independently.
